The apathy and negligence demonstrated in this industry is appalling. Simple common sense, and a basic understanding of geology should tell one that this is a dangerous practice. It is science as basic as Newtons Laws. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. If you inject high pressure fluids into an area where fault lines exist, the surrounding strata will react to the pressure.
